INSTRUMENT: Rhythm guitar and vocals . . . also known to sneak a trumpet, conga, or harmonica on stage if not watched carefully!!

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
EXIT 28’s origins date back over fifteen years to one of Bob’s original musical brain farts.  This daring experiment, originally known as “Welshie & the Windbreakers”,  included an accordion player dressed as a Kermit the frog as well as a horn section comprised mostly of mini-skirted girls playing kazoos.    Assembled on short notice in a desperate attempt to entertain at an impromptu neighborhood party, “the Windbreakers” maiden voyage played to a surprisingly positive (albeit alcohol influenced) audience reception which was all the encouragement Bob needed . . . and so a musical monster was born!

Since those humble backyard origins Bob has evolved the group through several phases into what is now EXIT 28 . . . a band considered by many to be one of the premier acts on the lowest rung of show business!

Through it all Bob remains to this day as the groups harsh (yet cruel) leader and taskmaster.

FAVORITE NEW BANDS:
"We're living in a golden age in music with lots of great new acts, but my favorites are definitely the Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, Barenaked Ladies, and John Mayer"

FAVORITE OLD BAND:
"I've gone thru lots of phases but all of them have included the Rolling Stones . . . I also have a soft spot for my first semi-legitimate club band from when I first got out of college which was a motown oriented group we called “The Shades of Grey"

MUSICAL INFLUENCES:
"Keith Richards, Miami Steve Van Zandt, and Richie Sambora . . . my favorite back-up singers!"

FAVORITE DRINK:
"Bud Light and Corona Light, which I guess are pretty much the same thing"

DREAM DATE: "I would have to say Judy Jetson. Not only was she super hot, she was also a great actress!”
